In January 2023, the factory achieved the IATF 16949 certification, marking compliance with stringent automotive industry quality standards. This milestone enables us to expand into automotive functional film markets on a global scale. In May 2023, our solar photovoltaic backsheet films earned the prestigious TÜV Rheinland certification, reinforcing our commitment to renewable energy advancements.
Further amplifying our research capabilities, we partnered with the Tsinghua University Research Institute (ShenZhen) in May 2023 through a technical development agreement. Leveraging their expertise in talent, technology, and instruments, alongside our factory's advanced production equipment and marketing resources, we are collaboratively developing optical and advanced energy films. This collaboration aims to introduce products with proprietary intellectual property, optimize our portfolio, and dominate the high-end market.
Expanding Intellectual Property Portfolio
In 2024, EliWhale's innovation efforts yielded two new invention patents:
● High-wear-resistant anti-fingerprint and anti-glare film and its preparation method
● Scratch-resistant optical anti-glare film and its preparation method
We also secured three utility model patents, covering advancements in film laminating mechanisms, coating curing devices, and diffusion film drying systems. These innovations underscore our relentless pursuit of technological breakthroughs to enhance market competitiveness.
